5 minute Design Sprints
I'm supplementing my product design degree with design sprints. I'll be researching, designing, and evaluating everything from components to mental models. Come along for the journey!
Day 1 - Font Sizes
Body font - minimum of 12pt/16px
Large text - 18pt/24px
Make sure to use relative units for a11y - it matters more that users can change the default size in their browser and this setup to be taken into consideration by websites

Noto sans is the most accessible font -civic center for design
Font Types
Use a limited number of typefaces, fonts, and font variations
Day 2 - Hierarchy
Three levels of topographic hierarchy
Heading, subheading, body
Differentiate between text formatting by
Size
Weight
Color
Contrast
Case
Position and alignment
Look for typefaces with similar x-heights
Grid, space, and proximity
Size almost always trumps color when it comes to hierarchy prioritization
